Brown Butter Alfredo Sauce

This recipe takes Alfredo to a whole new level! The browned butter and dry vermouth give this classic a little something EXTRA!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 stick Salted butter
  • 4 cloves of fresh mashed, chopped garlic
  • 4 Cups Heavy Cream
  • 1 tsp Dry vermouth
  • 1 tsp White pepper
  • 2-3 Cups of powdered parmesan cheese (add until it taste how you like)

Instructions

  • Melt butter in skillet on low until it turns a light brown
  • Add garlic and cook on low for 2 more minutes
  • Turn heat to medium and add cream and stir until heated (about 5 minutes)
  • Add cheese and stir constantly until melted and as thick as you would like
  • Turn up heat to medium high and add vermouth and cook an additional 5 minutes, stirring constantly
  • Lower heat and serve
