Herb Butter Filet

Ingredients
- 2 Filets or steak of choice
- 1 1/2 Stick salted butter (1 stick softened – the other 1/2 for later)
- 2 Cloves minced fresh garlic
- 1/2 Cup shopped parsley or herbs of choice
- Salt and Pepper to taste
- 3 TBLS Olive oil
Instructions
- Salt and pepper steaks and bring to room temperature
- Mix remaining ingredients and spoon onto a piece of parchment paper
- Roll into a log about 5 inches long and twist the ends to close
- Refrigerate for up to 30 minutes
- Preheat oven to 350
- Heat oil and butter in cast iron or oven safe skillet on high
- Add steaks and sear on each sided for 3 minutes or until a crust forms
- Place in oven and cook until desired temperature
- Take out of oven and cut a pat of herb butter and place on top
