Puff Pastry Bread Sticks
These cheese filled littles gems may not have turned out as pretty as I would have liked, but they were DELICIOUS! I used Fontina and Parmesan but feel free to use any cheese you like.

Ingredients
- 1 Frozen Puff Pastry (thawed to room temperature)
- 2 Cups shredded cheese of your choice
- 1 egg
- 2 TBLS water
- 1/2 Stick salted butter (melted)
- 1/2 cup chopped parsley
- 1 Clove fresh minced garlic
Instructions
- Roll out pastry dough to form a rectangle approximately 10″ x 14″
- Sprinkle cheese and press into dough using your hands
- Fold dough in half lengthwise and roll again to flatten
- Cut into 1″ strips and twist
- Transfer to greased baking sheet
- Mix egg and water to make an egg wash
- Brush on egg wash and bake on 350 for approximately 20 – 25 minutes.
- Melt butter and add garlic and parsley
- As soon as they come out of the oven brush on butter and serve
